How do you announce your baby's birth?

Well, my parents found a good way.  My dad (grandpa and uncles, too) was in the laundry and dry cleaning business and I was a "New Customer".  The year was 1948, and I was my parents first baby, born in Lying-In Hospital at U. of C.  The birth announcement was in the form of a laundry tag which always appeared on all the large white bundles in the laundry.  But this one was sent out via regular mail.

"Damp Wash" is right, as in those days we had cloth diapers and they were sent to the laundry!   Most importantly, the tag advises,  "Feed Every Four Hours."  And, to this day, I take that advice.

How can I throw this out?  Along with me, it keeps getting older and older.
